A coalition of 140 groups have rejected a blueprint for a Bill of Rights for the North.

Secretary of State Shaun Woodward has launched a consultation on proposals for the bill providing legal protection for a range of rights.

But despite the measure being more than a decade in the making, the Human Rights Consortium has accused Mr Woodward of failing to present a credible set of proposals.
