FG TD 'outraged' at Govt preparation for wintry weather

A Fine Gael TD has condemned the level of preparation amongst officials for the country's latest cold snap.

Frank Feighan, Fine Gael's deputy for Roscommon and South Leitrim, said he is "outraged" at preparations as the wintry weather is set to intensify again in the coming days.

He said the Department of Environment "has shown a complete lack of planning and preparation in ensuring roads are safe to use".
