N7 crash kills man

A 21-year-old man has been killed in a road accident in Dublin.

The young man died after the car he was driving collided with a truck at the junction of Newlands Cross and the Naas Road at around 11.30am this morning.

Traffic restrictions remain in place on the N7 Naas Road inbound with motorists being advised to avoid the Naas, Belgard and Fonthill Roads due to heavy traffic in the area.
