Bishop of Limerick Dr Donal Murray will address church-goers today as speculation intensifies that he has offered his resignation.

Bishop Murray has been under intense pressure to quit after his mishandling of child abuse allegations was branded inexcusable by the Murphy inquiry into paedophile priests and church cover-ups in the Dublin Archdiocese.
