Motorists urged to take care in frosty conditions

Motorists are being urged to drive with care given the frosty conditions in many areas with patches of freezing fog.

The warning comes after three people were killed on the roads yesterday.

An 80-year-old man died after being hit by a car near Emyvale in County Monaghan yesterday evening.

And another man and woman - both in their twenties - died in separate crashes in Dublin and Galway.
