Price of a pint of beer reduced by 12c

The Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan has announced a reduction in excise on alcohol of 12c per pint of beer or cider in his Budget speech.

He has also anounced a 14 cent cut in the price of a half glass of spirits and 60 cent off a bottle of wine.
