Garda representatives meet to discuss strike ballot plan

The Central Executive Committee of the Garda Representative Association will meet today to discuss a plan to ballot for industrial action.

The Garda Commissioner has written to the group spelling out the potential civil and criminal implications of any such plan, which was announced on Monday.
