Justice system 'failing to provide redress for rape victims'
The Director of the Rape Crisis Network Fiona Neary has said there has been a failure in the justice system to provide redress for rape victims who had been drinking.
It is one of the factors that is being highlighted in research published today by the Rape Crisis Network.
It has found the role of alcohol and its impact on the justice process is one of the reasons that rape convictions are not being secured.
