12 set for Reserve Defence Forces commissions

Two women and 10 men will be commissioned as officers in the Reserve Defence Forces later.

They will receive Presidential commissions at a ceremony at The Curragh, Co Kildare.

The group - which includes a teacher, a paramedic and an accountant - will take up leadership roles and carry out training and administration functions.
