Revenue recoups €18m from tax defaulters
The Revenue Commissioners recouped nearly €18m from tax defaulters in the last three months to the end of September this year.
A total of 76 settlements have been published, three of which exceed €1m.
The settlements relate to investigations into payment of tax, bogus non-resident accounts, offshore funds and single-premium insurance products.
A priest, Father Tadhg O'Donovan from Whitechurch in County Cork, also made the list for paying €433,000 for underdeclaration of tax.
