Gormley: Investments in flood-hit areas have 'paid off'

The Taoiseach Brian Cowen has chaired a meeting at the National Emergency Task Force this afternoon to discuss the Government's response to the flooding crisis.

The meeting heard from Environment Minister John Gormley who visited the flooded areas in Cork, Ballinasloe and Ennis.
