Cowen chairing flood response meeting

The Taoiseach Brian Cowen is chairing a meeting at the Department of Agriculture to discuss the Government's response to the flooding crisis.

The flooding task force is to coordinate the emergency response at a national level and will hear from Environment Minister John Gormley who has been visiting Cork and is expected to travel to Ballinasloe this afternoon.
