Cowen signals no change to old age pension

The Taoiseach has signalled that the Government will not cut the old age pension in next month's Budget.

In a webcast last night Brian Cowen said, in bringing about €4bn in savings in the Budget, the Government is "very sensitive" to the needs of the countrys pensioners.
