Gardaí seize €450,000 worth of cocaine in Dublin raid

Gardaí have seized €450,000 worth of cocaine in Dublin.

The drugs were found during the search of a house in Palmerstown Woods this afternoon.

The search was carried out by detectives from the Ballyfermot Drugs Unit and local gardaí as part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs.

Some €450,000 worth of cocaine was seized and a small number of cannabis plants were also recovered.

A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene and a 22-year-old woman was arrested a short time later.

Both are being held at Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
