Gardaí continue murder investigation in Galway
Gardaí are carrying out house to house enquiries in County Galway today following the murder of 78-year-old Finbarr Fahy.
The State pathologist is continuing a technical examination at the scene.
The pensioner was found dead at his home at Ballinduff near Ardrahan by a family member on Wednesday morning.
A post mortem's revealed he died from severe head injuries.
Superintendent John Gilligan says Gardaí at Gort appealing for help from the public.
