Cowen confirms Govt to look at child benefit

The Taoiseach Brian Cowen has confirmed the Government has to look at the issue of child benefit in next month's Budget.

Mr Cowen has come under fire in the Dáil after Minister Mary Hanafin admitted last night that there "will be savings made in the child benefit budget".
