Unions expect huge support for work stoppage

Public sector union bosses say the 24-hour work stoppage planned for November 24 will be "hugely supported".

The public service committee of ICTU has been meeting in Dublin today to discuss its negotiations with the Government on plans to reduce the public sector pay bill.
