Tánaiste: 'Seismic change' needed in attitudes

The Tánaiste Mary Coughlan says there needs to be a "seismic change in the attitudes" of civil service workers towards the level of spending on public sector pay.

And she warned that unless State employees embrace changes in their earnings and work practices, the Government will make decisions without their consent.
