Gardaí in Tipperary are appealing for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing man.

Pat Shore, 44, from Clonmel was last seen on Sunday afternoon in the town.

He is described as being 5 foot 5 inches in height, 11 stone in weight and with receding hair.

He was wearing a dark top when last seen and gardaí believe he may have taken the bus to Waterford.

His family are concerned for his safety and anyone with any information is being urged to contact gardaí at Clonmel.
