No cuts in pensions for retired civil servants, says Roche

A Government minister is today dismissing reports that already retired public servants will have their pensions slashed in the budget.

The Sunday Times is reporting that the Finance Minister is considering cutting the pension by 5%, a move which would save €90m a year - but would affect 100,000 retired public-sector workers.
