Lecturers union "concerned" over threats to third level system

The union representing university lecturers across the country has said it’s "concerned" about the threats posed to the third level system here.

The Irish Federation of University Teachers claims the current trends of "marketisation" and "privitisation" are destroying the university ideal.

It's General Secretary Micheal Jennings says these trends are impacting in several areas.
