Man dies in industrial accident at Kerry quarry

A man has died following an industrial accident at a quarry in Lispole, west Kerry.

It is understood the man is from the locality. No one else was injured in the incident.

The quarry has been closed and the staff have been sent home.

The Health and Safety Authority has confirmed that it has launched an investigation into the matter.
