Government to enter talks with social partners

Junior Minister Conor Lenihan has said the Government is open to hearing any ideas which could help cut the public sector bill.

The Government needs to achieve €1.3bn in savings and it plans to do this through a combination of reform, pay-cuts and changes to pensions.
