Dempsey pledges to reduce transport costs

Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey has admitted spending on his foreign trips had been very high and instructed his Department to take control of future costs.

It is understood €13,570 were spent on chauffeur services on seven official trips abroad since he become minister.
