Jury discharged after failing to reach verdict in Dublin rape trial

A jury in the Central Criminal Court trial of a Dublin man accused of raping a sleeping woman two years ago has been discharged after failing to reach a verdict.

The 26-year-old man had pleaded not guilty to raping the woman in west Dublin on July 23, 2007.
