Fine Gael finance spokesperson Richard Bruton said the legislation establishing the National Assets Management Agency (Nama) will do nothing to change the behaviour of Irish banks.

Mr Bruton was speaking this morning as the Oireachtas Finance Committee began its examination of the bill to set up Nama.
