EU farmers to protest outside Luxembourg talks

Farmers from across Europe are due to stage a protest in Luxembourg today as EU agriculture ministers meet to discuss supports for the dairy sector.

Twenty-one member states, including Ireland, are calling for hundreds of millions of euro to be set aside to help dairy farmers.
