Taoiseach tells people with mortgage difficulties to contact lenders

Taoiseach Brian Cowen today said that people having trouble meeting their mortgage commitments should engage with the lending agencies as soon as difficulties arise.

Eamon Gilmore of Labour told the Dáil that the very banks who will benefit from the taxpayer through Nama are gearing up to re-possess homes from struggling mortgage payers.
