Govt urged to maintain existing disability services

The Disability Federation of Ireland says it is concerned about cuts recommended earlier this year by An Bord Snip Nua.

The organisation, which is launching its pre-budget submission today, says some of the proposed cuts would impact severely on services for people with disabilities.

It is calling on the Government to recommit itself to implementing its National Disability Strategy and to maintain the existing level of services for people with disabilities.
