A number of families have been evacuated from their homes in Crolly in Co. Donegal following a fire last night.

A number of families have been evacuated from their homes in Crolly in Co. Donegal following a fire last night.

The blaze broke out in a mobile home sometime between 11pm and 11.30pm.

The local fire service is still at the scene. Authorities are concerned about a premises beside the scene of the fire, which houses gas cylinders.

Traffic diversions remain in place, and are expected to continue into this evening. No one has been injured in the incident.

Gardaí at Glenties are investigating.
