Young man killed in Dublin crash

A 21-year-old man has been killed in a car crash in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

The single-vehicle collision happened at about 2.30am at Alymer Road, Newcastle.

The driver of the car was seriously injured and rushed to Tallaght Hospital where he later died.

The scene has been cordoned off for a technical examination and gardaí are investigating.
