Gormley confident Greens will approve new deal

Green Party leader John Gormley has said the negotiations on a new Programme for Government are making good progress, but he has refused to be drawn on the issues being discussed.

The talks began yesterday and the finished deal will be put to Green members on October 10, when a two-thirds majority will be needed to keep the party in government.
