Gardaí seek witnesses to Dublin stabbing

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the fatal stabbing of a man in his 40s outside a pub in west Dublin early yesterday morning.
The man was stabbed during a fight involving up to 20 people outside Hannigen's pub in Ballyfermot.
Reports this morning say the dead man was from Manchester and that two gangland factions based in the area were involved in the brawl.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old youth is due before Cork District Court today charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Blarney over the weekend.
Thirty-year-old Shannon Ruby was stabbed to death at the Ard na Gréine estate in the village on Saturday night.
