The Taoiseach has defended the €1m ‘golden handshake’ for former FÁS director-general Rody Molloy, who saw his pension entitlement was topped-up to secure his resignation.

The Taoiseach has defended the €1m ‘golden handshake’ for former FÁS director-general Rody Molloy, who saw his pension entitlement was topped-up to secure his resignation.

Brian Cowen said the package agreed for Mr Molloy was broadly similar to what he would have been entitled to.
