Council concerned about children’s referendum wording

The Irish Council for Civil Liberties has expressed concern about reports that the Government is shelving plans to change the wording of its proposed referendum on children's rights.

The two-year-old wording has come under fire for not going far enough in light of the Ryan Report on institutional child abuse.
