Man held over armed post office raid in Meath
Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery at a post office in Co Meath last month.
The man, who is in his 40s, was detained in the Ballyfermot area at around 7.30am and taken to Trim garda station.
He is being questioned about an armed raid on Rathmolyon post office by three masked men on August 6.
One of the raiders was armed with a shotgun, while another used a hammer to shatter the protective glass at the counter.
