Cowen's Lisbon comments 'unhelpful': ICTU

The head of the Irish Congress of Trade Union says the Taoiseach's comments about possible cuts to public sector pay are unhelpful in the context of the upcoming Lisbon Treaty referendum.

David Begg was speaking at a press conference run by the Charter Group of unions, which is calling for a 'Yes' vote in the referendum.
