18 jobs to go with closure of concrete firm

A concrete firm in Co Westmeath has announced plans to close with the loss of 18 jobs.

John Gannon and Sons in Kilbeggan has gone into voluntary liquidation after 30 years in operation.

Staff were informed of the closure yesterday and told they are entitled to claim redundancy.
