Fresh appeal launched over missing teenager

Crimestoppers has launched an appeal for information about the disappearance of a Romanian teenager in Dublin last year.

Nineteen-year-old Marioara Rostas was last seen getting into a silver Ford Mondeo on Pearse St in Dublin city centre on January 6, 2008.

Gardaí say the car had a 07 LH registration plate.

Last December, gardaí arrested four Irish people in connection with her disappearance and also searched part of the Grand Canal amid fears she may have been murdered.

A house that was damaged by fire a short time after she went missing has also been forensically examined.

Crimestoppers says anyone who helps with the investigation may receive a cash reward.
