Two remanded over huge cocaine seizure
Two men were remanded in custody today over a €3m drugs seizure.
Arthur Conroy, 24, from Violet Hill Park, Glasnevin and Eric Wynne, 23, Portland Place, Lower Dorset Street faced charges of possessing cocaine at Blanchardstown District Court.
Both men were remanded to appear before Cloverhill Courthouse on Friday, according to the Courts Service.
The drugs were recovered on Friday evening after gardaí swooped on a house in the Glasnevin area of north Dublin and recovered the haul and items used to prepare cocaine for sale and supply.
The operation was carried out by officers from the Garda National Drug Unit (GNDU) backed up by the Finglas Drug Unit.
