Woman still held after Dublin firearm seizure

A woman in her 20s remains in garda custody in connection with the discovery of a handgun and ammunition at a house in Dublin.

They were seized during a planned raid on a house at Barnmore Crescent in Finglas yesterday afternoon.

The woman is being detained at Finglas garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, and can be held for up to 72 hours.
