CIF: 100,000 construction jobs at risk

The Construction Industry Federation is claiming that 100,000 workers could lose their jobs in the sector over the next 12 months as a result of the recession.

The state of the economy is likely to dominate discussions at the organisation's annual conference in Co Cork later today.
