Musgraves is recalling some pre-cooked ham products from a number of SuperValu and Centra stores.

In a statement the company says it has been notified by Rudd Fine Foods of the possible presence of listeria in three products it supplies to the company.

Musgraves says it has traced this product back to all affected stores and as a precaution, all of this stock has been removed from sale with immediate effect.

The affected products include SuperValu Homestyle Crumbed Ham, Centra Homestyle Crumbed Ham and Centra Homestyle Cooked Ham, which are all cut in store at the deli counter and have an expiration date of September 18.

Customers who have purchased any of this affected batch are being advised that it should be disposed of immediately.
