Funeral for British Army captain in Down

The funeral of a British Army captain killed in an explosion in Afghanistan is taking place in Hillsborough, Co. Down.

Mark Hale, a father-of-two, was fatally wounded in Helmand province last month.

He had gone to save another soldier with a colleague when a second bomb exploded killing all three men.

Captain Hale was originally from Bournemouth in England but lived in Dromara in Co. Down with his wife who was from Bangor.
