Poll indicates young people will vote yes to Lisbon
A new poll on the Lisbon Treaty suggests a yes vote on October 2 is likely, at least among young people.
New group We Belong, who are campaigning for a yes vote in the upcoming referendum, found that 36% of 24-40 year olds polled will vote yes; 23% of respondents say they will vote no and 37% are undecided.
The non-political body, which includes businessman Bill Cullen and rugby's Mick Galwey said young people believe Europe's perception of Ireland will hinge on the result of the Treaty.
Respondents were most concerned about attracting foreign investment and our economic recovery.
