Man dies as car collides with tanker in Galway

A 45-year-old man has died following a car crash on the N17 in Co Galway this morning.

The man was driving a car that collided with a tanker between Ballindine and Milltown at around 8am.

The road remains closed for technical examination and diversions are in place.
