PSNI probe explosion in Tyrone

Police in the north are investigating what they believe to be a sectarian attack in Co. Tyrone overnight.

A van was damaged in an estate in Dungannon after a small explosive device was placed beneath it.

The incident happened in the Fairfield estate shortly after midnight.

No one was in the van at the time and no one was injured.

The PSNI is appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
