Two men shot in paramilitary-style attacks

Two men are recovering today after they were shot in the legs during separate paramilitary-style attacks in Derry overnight.

Two men are recovering today after they were shot in the legs during separate paramilitary-style attacks in Derry overnight.

In the first incident, five masked men forced their way into a house in the Melmore Gardens area and shot a man three times in the legs.

Shortly afterwards, a man was shot three times in the leg after four masked men entered a house in Creggan Heights.

The PSNI believes the two shootings were linked.
