The Anti-Bullying Centre at Trinity College Dublin says that Irish girls are more likely to be cyber bullies than boys.

Cyber bullying includes the sending of abusive or threatening texts, emails or video clips or posting such material in chat rooms or on websites

Dr Mona O'Moore, founder of the centre says that while anti-bullying software on mobile phones will help curb the problem, parents have an important role to play.
