Gardaí probe Wicklow Hotel raid

Gardaí are investigating an armed raid on a hotel in Co Wicklow.

Five men carrying iron bars and hurleys entered the Arklow Bay Hotel at about 5am this morning.

They stole a small amount of cash from reception.

The gang made their escape in a jeep, which was stolen from one of the guests staying in the hotel.

No one was injured in the incident.
